Amal Prasad is pursuing M.S. (By Research) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras. Prior to this, he worked as a Project Associate in Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research(ICSR), at IIT Madras and CAE engineer trainee (2018-2020) in machine design section IIT Madras. He finished his B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from University of Kerala in the year 2016. His primary research area is on Modeling and FEA Application. Presently, he works on Design and modeling of variable preload spindle, thermo-mechanical analysis of machine tool using Finite element method and optimization.
