Mariselvan P is pursuing M.S. (By Research) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras. Prior to this, he worked as a Project Associate in Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research(ICSR), at IIT Madras. He finished his B.E. in mechanical engineering from Anna University in the year 2018. His primary research area is on machining dynamics. Presently, he works in the design and development of chatter resistance cutting tools based on passive and active damping technologies, machining process optimization to reduce chatter and smart manufacturing.
